Conducting PGR Research in a Time of COVID-19: Conceptual and Methodological Reframings

Under the remit of ‘Reframing Research’, peer-to-peer training sessions will focus on a variety of topics including Archival Research; Fieldwork; Case studies; Methods of Analysis; Issues relating to Translating from other Languages; the Strengths and Challenges of a field-focused approach; How to Mitigate the Restrictions on Fieldwork as a result of the COVID pandemic. Researchers from all pathways are welcome.

Each session will last 45 minutes, and will be held on Microsoft Teams. These virtual training sessions are purposely shorter than the in-person face-to-face training traditionally provided by SGSSS to provide a more appropriate duration for the virtual environment.
