This online training event is suitable for students who will collect their own data using in-depth interviews, surveys, and/or focus group discussion. Since the event will be mainly on the project management side of data collection, this webinar is open to students with any level of knowledge and experience in data collection (Masters and PhD students).
The first hour of this session will be a presentation focusing on how to plan, organise, manage, and monitor data collection. There will be relevant templates of timetable and monitoring tools that can be used by participants as a reference.
The session will then be continued with 30 minutes in breakout rooms, where participants will have chance to share with other participants about their data collection plan and obstacles that they are facing. The webinar will conclude with a whole-class discussion and reflections.
