Let your imagination run wild in our Two Half-Day Workshops in Glasgow! Whether you’re new to arts-informed inquiry or keen to explore creativity in community contexts, this event is designed to spark your imagination and expand your approach to social science research.
In these two interactive sessions, you will be introduced to arts-based methods, arts-informed inquiry, and arts-based methodology and explore how creativity can enhance research through reflection and discussion. Through arts-informed activities such as “language portrait”(Kusters & De Meulder, 2019) and “therapeutic painting” (Dalley, 2008), you will learn to think outside the box and consider new possibilities in your own research practices. You’ll also have a chance to design a mini arts-informed research project to gain hands-on experience with arts-based approaches.
