The SGSSS Internships Scheme will connect PhD social science researchers with organisations out with academia, for 3 month (full-time) or 6 month (part-time) placements. This interactive session will enable prospective PhD applicants to learn more about the host organisations for Autumn 2023 placements, and discuss what makes both a successful internship and application.
The session will start with an overview from some of the host organisations, and be followed by a panel conversation chaired by SGSSS. There will then be an opportunity for attendees to ask the hosts some questions.
Please note: This “Meet the Hosts” session is designed specifically for potential applicants to learn more about the host organisations. SGSSS will be running two separate Q&A sessions which will provide more general information about eligibility and the process of undertaking a placement.
