This two-day hybrid event is for the PGRs in Scottish universities who are undertaking interdisciplinary doctoral studies, with education as one of the disciplines. The two-day event will expose doctoral students to different perspectives (educational, philosophical, sociological, psychological, political) and theories that have influenced educational policy, practice and research. The event will include a keynote speech, lectures, workshop, Q&A session and networking opportunities.
The event is expected to:
· Enhance participants’ theoretical knowledge on education.
· Help the participants to develop their skills in raising educational questions and investigating them with educational, sociological, philosophical or psychological perspectives.
· Facilitate connections with leading scholars, post-graduate students and peers.
