Led by Dr Niccole Pamphilis
Teaching research methods, whether it is qualitative, quantitative, or about research design, can be an intimidating time. Questions can be raised in your mind regarding how technical versus practical a course should be? Issues with how to appropriate track students comprehension and mastery of material also differ from more traditional courses that use essays or exams.
This workshop is designed to talk through some of the practical challenges of teaching these types of courses for the first time. The workshop will be a mix of open discussion led by the convenor of the session along with group discussions, to help understand what concerns others might have and share experiences that might help.
