This session provides an overview of patient and public involvement in research – which is increasingly viewed as good practice by funders and researchers throughout the research process – from the beginnings of bid development to reporting and dissemination. We’ll discuss the potential value of PPI, different ways to integrate PPI in research, challenges you may encounter, and possible ways to overcome them, and useful resources.
